2 years ago we purchased my husband’s family home where he was raised. It came with 6 acres of land and an adorable ranch style home where we can continue to make wholesome memories.
If you couldn’t tell from the name of our homestead – It all started with chickens. 6 chickens. We have lived in several places in our years together and it seemed every time we moved we would acquire more and more chickens. Now that we can finally say we live in our forever home we can start building a solid foundation in order to expand our homestead and continue to learn about living a self-sufficient lifestyle.
